                Synopsis
Regency London—a dizzying whirl of exclusive balls and young ladies pursued by charming men. But the Woodmore sisters are hunted by a more sinister breed—Lucifer’s own.

Voss, also known as Viscount Dewhurst, relishes the sensual pleasures immortality affords. A member of the Dracule—a cabal of powerful, secretive noblemen—the mercenary Voss has remained carefully neutral. Until Angerlica.

Angelica Woodmore possesses the Sight, an ability invaluable to both sides of a looming war among the Draclue. Her very scent envelops Voss in a scarlet fog of hunger—for her body and her blood. But he is utterly unprepared for the new desire that overcomes him—to protect her.

Now Voss must battle his very nature to be with Angelica...but this vampire never backs from a fight.

      my Thoughts (review)
Set in 1804 this book is great. though must be said, it was a long story, or felt that way, like it was never going to end, though I’m still not sure, even after reading it weather it was a good thing or not. It’s like the book wants you to take days to read it, rather than in one full sitting.

So like I’ve said, it’s in the older days, gowns and balls, and no one was allowed to show a hand, and though it’s not quite old enough to make me really love it, it was surprisingly excellent, like a British version of cowboy times.

And the characters... shit there great, though the sister annoys me, though I feel as if she won’t so much in the next book, the one that’s hers, because it will be more focused and she’s just... it will be great. I can feel it.

Anyway, Voss, the man that gets what he wants, and that doesn’t stop with this book. Angelica, a woman we all are, brave, selfless and lets others think what they need to be happy. Or that’s how I see her, and the relationship between her and her sister. But they are great characters, ones that make you agree with the match, see it as something perfect even before they meet, and when they do, you’re not quite sure what’s keeping them apart. Though the age that they are in... Well it makes a lot more sense. You get to meet all of the six main characters in this book, getting to know them and everything. It’s great.

Then there’s this stories plot, which I don’t really want to get into in fear of ruining it for you. And I’m even sure it’s the story line for all three books, the beginning of the great anger that comes for them. and yet, it’s simple, him keeping her safe, for too many reason to keep track of, though it’s always one, and then the other, things change, people more so.
