my Thoughts (review)
This
book was designed for a much younger reading audients. And you could tell as
you read it. Though it was a good book, Raven was an over the top, kinda
selfish main characters, that I think could become quite annoying as the series
goes on. Though Alexander was great, in a little bit weird kinda way, but then
the way the story went it made more sense than you would think. And then there
are the two boys. One that was very in your face, and I was sure liked Raven,
even if she never got it, and that was after he made out with her twice. And
his best mate who finally sees the first guy for what he really is.
So
Raven who is a Goth living in Dullsville, where she wears black and wishes to
be a vampire when she gets older.
When
a family movies into the mansion on the hill everyone is talking about them,
and all they can say is there vampires. Raven wants to know the truth and as
she does she meets Alexander who she falls in love with and decides she’s full
of herself, there’s no such thing as vampires, or is there?
It’s
odd, or at least the end made it so. But the book is actually really good, very
clean, even the kisses is more about the deep love, or not, then it is about
anything else. the writing style to is very different, though it’s very teen,
it’s written in the first person and yet it felt, as I read it, that I was
reading a diary entry, like she was telling of a story from after it happened,
not when it was, and still it had that right there feel to it.
