     Thoughts
DAY 1; if you don’t know me, or my reading style you probably wouldn’t really understand but I don’t take days to read a book. I can’t, generally when I put one down for... any reason and my mind doesn’t crave the rest of it instantly I generally won’t finish it.
Not with this, and mostly –I think—because there isn’t anything in it to crave.

I like real deep emotions in my characters, what I read. I like to know them, like to feel what they’re feeling, even when it’s about stuff I couldn’t even begin to understand emotionally (like things that have never happened to me. I can only emphases with them, not fully understand). It’s what I like in my romances.
This isn’t to say that I don’t—I can’t—enjoy a good fuck book, but it’s the reason it’s taken me so long to read it.
I just don’t care. To me this book is only the equivalent of porn you pick up because you need something hot in your mind to make manual work more enjoyable.
Which it does beautiful (though I have some issue with the whole human on beast thing and being that the emotion level—the character level isn’t deep it’s hard to really get your head from thinking that. I think with a deeper emotional feel to the book would have eliminated).

So it’s about four people though I’ve only made it through 2 parts. This is not saying I’ll only meet 2 so far, I’ve only read two parts.
You see the whole thing is split into parts, by the name of one of the characters and even though I can understand t I just don’t understand why. But then I think this comes to the point above so we’ll just skip over it.

It starts with a woman lost in snow who finds a herself falling for a beast who ends up bring her to a man who helps them understand the family they can create who...[this part still to come—only read half a book]
And honestly I could have done without the paranormal crap. Yeah the beast part—the paranormal element was and is what makes it, ha, I was going to say different but these days—no. It’s the same. The beast is what makes them overly horny, what makes them want to fuck. like humans can’t get so caught up in sex that they forget the world, forget everything but the lust, the sex...the flesh upon flesh...oh, what a glorious weeken—ahh...sorry got carried away.
Still it’s like this could only happen if you’ve got an inner beast, yeah, uh-huh.

Anyway, again this is the point I’ve made before. You just don’t care.
Though don’t get me wrong the books a good read. The scenes are hot and 90% of them have nothing that makes you question (there’s one with a goby. It’s just...she touched more than she should have been able to just an open zipper (button still done up)) so far. Just don’t go into it thinking there’s more than there is.

It’s sex. You should only read it for the sex. Going in it wanting more and you’ll be highly disappointed. Lucky for me I didn’t and I have enjoyed it a lot—at least so far.

DAY 2; I was wrong, there are actually five parts to this book, each name has a part along with the final one, named ‘The Gift’ which works in so many ways, and actually made much more sense as this end have come into play.

It was a more emotional driven part with the female (Keisha) having been threw a horrible physical assaulted and it’s all about bring her back to what she once was. Though in the end it was actually Stefen who freed her.

I found it a little odd though (okay, so you know, I’m gonna start talking about the sex now, so...) there was so much sex in the first half of the book, lots of m/m and three-way, just plan sex between Xandi and both boys (separately) but when we got to this last time, yeah, I got why there wasn’t as much, she was struggling and it was all about her, but there were still, a little m/m and threesome, even a girl on girl but at the end of it all, there was never a foursome, and I don’t understand why. Was it because that was to boring sex? Since foursomes are more about partner changing then all in, but still....? it wasn’t that big a deal, just something I ended up pondering after I read the book, it was odd, the graphic’s the amount of sex and yet...

Still, it wasn’t the best book that I have ever read, like I’ve mentioned I like full emotional books, which this one didn’t give you. Even when she was going through all she was, it still didn’t....I don’t know, make you truly feel anything. But then again, it was about the after effect when she was about to get her life together.
Saying this, I’m pretty sure that was like a week or so after her body fully healed, and is that really enough time...nah, but it made sense and it worked out and the book ended with something sweet and loving, and....just right.
