Plans for Moonlit Wolves series

I know it’s early for me to be spouting off plans I have and whatnot, but the fact is mine have suddenly changed.

For those of you who don’t know I’ve written this series in the style of manga.
It don’t believe I planned on writing it this way, but the simpleness of what I wanted with the idea around it, but the time I finished writing book 3 I understood what was happening and ran with it. (It wasn’t like I could change it, I didn’t really have a whole lot of chose in writing it that way, lol).

Because of this, it means I added ‘side stories’ which were meant to start in book 4.

If you don’t know what that means, which I’ll guess is because you don’t know manga all that well, or all the types there are, normally, in series that I’ve read, at least, they have these little skits in the end of their volumes.

So I wanted to do this. I wanted to give you bits of what happened inside the books that you just saw as you passed by them.
Book 4 was in the lounge room when Eamon came back to apologise to Chris.

If you’ve read it, you may or may not know the part I’m talking about until this “This is how Jex and Matt became fucking on the lounge surrounded by the boys watching telly.”
You know it now.

So, the thing is that company didn’t want to put it in because it’s not actually a short story. I’m thinking it’s more they don’t understand and because of that, they don’t want to risk others coming back at them for not understanding as well.
I get this, but it’s put a bit of a damper on everything.

On one hand they said they’d help edit it for me, but I fear that what that will mean is I edited it to be a short story or not at all, and I really don’t want it to be one.

Anyway, here’s the thing, I have two options for it all, I can either not edit them and put them up as is (unless someone wants to help out and edit them for me) or I can leave them behind closed doors and put them into the story when I the contract ends.

The thing is I never had any plans of taking them out of extasy when the contract ends because it would mean walking away from the covers, and I really like them, but…

Anyway, what do you guys want, unedited versions of them now, which I will then clean up and edit them and put them into the series when I get them back, or make you all wait.

  1. hmmmmm, this is difficult. On one hand, I really don't like to wait? On the other, I am curious about how this 'cleaning up' will come to pass; on one foot, I want a clean up; on the other foot, I want what I can get from the rest of the series..... if I had a third foot, I would want all of the above and not have to wait at all.... now you know why this is a difficult question for me to answer.... hmmmmm
