Hadn’t the Pleasure # 7

The books that have been collecting dust for so long they have become stained from it

She can control her pack. But not her heart.

I wanted him to kiss me—wished he could smell the desire that I knew was pouring off me.
You can’t, Calla. This boy isn’t the one for you.

Calla Tor has always known her destiny: graduation, marriage and then a life leading her pack.
But when she defied her masters’ laws to save a human boy, she must choose.
Is one boy worth losing everything for?

Nightshade by Andrea Cremer

First published 2010 by Penguin (USA)
YA, paranormal fiction
Trilogy includes

Shadow Days, Wolfsbane, Teachery & Bloodrose

the why’s
Well I got this because at the time it was on special, I think, and I got to get both this one and book 2, with full intentions of reading them straight away. It didn’t happen. First because of some reviews and the fact that I knew once I read the first I’d want to read the second and so I thought—yeah, it’s like that—that’s I’ll wait for the last to come out. It was going to be soon, months soon, if not it was already in Books shops, just not Big W, where I buy most of my books.
So then I had all three and they look good and I want to read them but whenever I told myself I would I could never pick the first one up (I think it may not have helped that reviews of the last one weren’t that great), but know, my reasoning’s are the fact that I have put it in my weekly reading list and that will happen, um.... I'm reviewing them on--
            Nightshade, October 19th
            Wolfsbane, Oct 26th
            & Bloodrose, Nov 2nd
So look forward to that, I sure am!!
by the by, Shadow Days can be found on Authors website
or maybe her blog, A Blurred History!
but you'll have to find it, because I can't, sorry.
