This is my Pop, and he's resident Santa in Mallee Street Quakers Hill Australia. He and the man up the road are like the two houses to visit West of Sydney this time a year. They are more than not listed in the Daily Telegraph and most years either my Pop or the neighbour wins (though this year it went to some dude who had a space ship landing on his house. super cool!)
The chair he is sitting on is a new part to the decoration. it was made by my dad since my Pop is getting old and rather than him having to stand the whole time, he can go for his normal work up the road and then come back to sit on his chair.
It’s beautiful, the chair, one of the best things my dad has made (my bookshelf being up in the top five) and it is a huge success, everyone, young, and old loves Santa's Chair.
Anyway, you probably don't care, but it's a tradition for my family, and it will be until my Pop passes away, but it's something I always look forward to.
