April's Interlude

For your treat here’s an excerpt from the bad guys perspective

Nicolono eyed Hacen with a look of false calmness. “Tell me Hacen, how exactly does a vampire lose a witch? Especially one that doesn’t even know he’s a witch,” Nicolono asked and leaned back in his office chair. Nicolono wasn’t a big man, not nearly as big as Gary had been. He was tall, but thin which was often deceiving to most people that didn’t know to fear him.
Hacen should know better than to make such a big mistake. Now that Gary was dead it was Hacen that would take the responsibility of the fuck up. He’d miss Gary’s…violent skills. Gary was far more talented in certain areas than Hacen would ever be. Hacen might be one of the newest members of the coven but he had certainly been on long enough to know better than to make a mistake of the caliber that he did.
Nicolono gave Hacen a deceptively pleasant smile.
There was a knock on the office door. “Come in,” he said and watched as Angel led in a very naked dark-haired man that had tears in his eyes and was trying to shield his private bits.
“Bring him some clothes. He is my mate, not some common blood whore. And let everyone know not to touch him. Death is what awaits if they do.”
Angel nodded and left the room.
He had just found his mate last week and already his wife was wreaking havoc between them. He finally found someone that would counter act the language barrier she had created between them. He should be getting an erection at just seeing his mate, but he hadn’t since the day his wife learned of his mate’s existence.
Nicolono crooked his finger at the young man. He watched as that beautiful lean body walked over to him, shaking the entire way. Nicolono Stavros had always liked his meals young, but not too young. This particular beauty was special however, certainly not just because he was Nicolono’s mate. He had dark hair and a body that was made for fucking. He had met the man at a club. The beauty was dancing with an abandonment that appealed to Nicolono. He hadn’t approached him then, rather waited for a more opportune time to take what was his.
He was getting angry though, at the curse his wife had put on his poor cock. And that anger grew exponentially now that his mate was standing in front of him.
He patted his knee and the naked man sat down stiffly. Nicolono ran a hand down the man’s chest and kept a firm grip on his waist. Finally, he was able to know the one thing about his mate he hadn’t been able to learn up until now. “What’s your name, boy?”
“Jules,” his mate said, fear rolling off his tongue with each tiny bit of air he expelled.
Nicolono smiled. He’d have to reward Thomas for lifting the language barrier curse from his mate, even if the warlock couldn’t lift the erectile dysfunction curse. So many curses is wife had put on him. That woman was a menace. At least Thomas had been able to tell him what he needed to lift the one curse and give his poor cock some attention, even if he couldn’t fix it.
Warlocks did have their uses after all. Not as useful as a male witch, apparently. There were far too many warlocks in existence for them to be of use for very long, especially one that was a scared little twit like Thomas. Now a male witch was a very rare thing. There was only one in existence and Hacen had let him slip through his fingers.
“Just relax, Jules. I would never hurt you.” Nicolono’s hand slid further down his chest and rested just under his bellybutton. The boy’s softened cock twitched just a bit despite his fear, speaking more of his youth than his pretty face did. “How old are you, boy?”
“Nineteen years old, sir,” Jules whispered out.
Nicolono was glad it was Damian and Frederick who capture Jules for him. They were the best at being persuasive without getting rough with the blood whores. Of course most of the humans who lived at the mansion came of their own freewill. It was good money after all and they could come and go as they please once Nicolono was sure they would keep their mouth shut. Jules had been captured. Nicolono had waited a couple days before sending Damian and Frederick out to find his mate and bring him home where he belonged.
“So young. I’m a hundred and eighty-seven years old.” Nicolono gave the boy a smiled when his big brown eyes rounded. “Vampires are very old creatures, Jules. To hear my wife tell it, we’re also very hard to live with.” Nicolono looked up at Hacen then. “Doesn’t Silvia say I’m impossible?”
“Yes, sir.” Hacen stood just inside the door with his hands clasped behind his back, just like the soldier he used to be, before he became part of the Stavros coven. It was because of his fighting ability that Nicolono took him on in the first place. He had shown his worth the past ten years and if he took a few liberties than Nicolono had always over looked it.
