shh....

So I did it again, went into a friggin book shop (Dymocks, Penrith) and I got two books, though one of them I did want since I saw a strip or two from the comic created from the series, and the other--I couldn't stop myself. yeah, tell me about it, I need some control over myself, I know, but anyway, let me show you what I got.

first up is Storm Born by Richelle Mead

Just typical. No love life to speak of for months, then all at once, every horny creature in the Otherworld wants to get in your pants...
Eugenie Markham is a powerful shaman who does a brisk trade banishing spirits and fey who cross into the mortal world. Mercenary, yes, but a girl's got to eat. Her most recent case, however, is enough to ruin her appetite. Hired to find a teenager who has been taken to the Otherworld, Eugenie comes face to face with a startling prophecy--one that uncovers dark secrets about her past and claims that Eugenie's first-born will threaten the future of the world as she knows it.
Now Eugenie is a hot target for every ambitious demon and Otherworldy ne'er-do-well, and the ones who don't want to knock her up want her dead. Eugenie handles a Glock as smoothly as she wields a wand, but she needs some formidable allies for a job like this. She finds them in Dorian, a seductive fairy king with a taste for bondage, and Kiyo, a gorgeous shape-shifter who redefines animal attraction. But with enemies growing bolder and time running out, Eugenie realizes that the greatest danger is yet to come, and it lies in the dark powers that are stirring to life within her...

Okay, so this is book one from her Dark Swan series, it came out in 2008. the rest of the series has Thorn Queen (came out 2009), Iron Crowned (came out 2011) and coming in 2012 is Shadow Heir.
As far as I'm awear this is a adults book, paranormal romance says the description on FantasticFiction. and I'm actually really looking forward to reading it.
A Book Review on her YA series, Vampire Academy, because, well, why not.

also I got, Envy by J. R. Ward

As the son of a serial killer, homicide detective Thomas ‘Veck’ Delvecchio Jr grew up in the shadow of evil. Now, on the knife-edge between civic duty and blind retribution, he atones for the sins of his father—while fighting his inner demons.

Assigned to monitor Veck is Internal Affairs officer Sophia Reilly, whose interest in him is both professional and arousingly personal. And Veck and Sophia have another link: Jim Heron, a mysterious stranger with too many answers to questions that are deadly. When Veck and Sophia are drawn into the ultimate battle between good and evil, their fallen angel saviour is the only thing that stands between them and eternal damnation.

this is book three in the Fallen Angel series, the first two being Covet (2009) and Crave (2010). this book was the 'cause I couldn't' book, and yeah, I can't really help it that much, I'm a huge Ward fan, at least in my own rights, I wouldn't say I'd go gargar over her, or her books, or anything like that but, yeah, fan I am.

so there the new books, and yeah, just a bounch to add to my list of books on my bookself, I'm running out of room, but it's all good, I'm sure I still find somewhere to put'em all.
thanks for the time, and the love.
