                Synopsis
I guess it had gone okay with Stevie Rae. I mean, she had agreed to meet me tomorrow. And she hadn’t tried to bite me, which was a plan. Of course, the whole trying-to-eat-the-street-person thing was highly disturbing...

Zoey’s best friend, Stevie Rae, is undead – in a eww! zombie! kind of way, not in a cool vampire kind-of-way. She’s struggling to retain her humanity and Zoey doesn’t have a clue how to help. But she does know that anything they discover must be kept secret.

Unfortunately, trust has become a rare commodity. Sinister forces are at work at the House of Night, where the line between friend and enemy is becoming dangerously blurred.

      Thoughts
This is the book that got all her lies pushed out into the open and she loses everything. But that’s at the end, threw the book it’s getting to the point that she’s about to explode anyway because of all the lies and secrets.

Yeah, so, um.....
That’s pretty much this book rolled into one, and if wasn’t for the fact that I got to go onto the next one like straight away, this would have been the book that I stopped at.
It was boring, if anything, and mostly just her bitching and moaning about all the stress she’s under and all the presser, she herself, has put onto her shoulders.
Though I just it’s an accurate teenage thing, so at least there’s that.

This one is all about keeping shit to herself and alienating her friends which....well, I don’t, really, I just can’t, out one was about her and Stevie Rea and Aphrodite, because even though she doesn’t want to share with her friends, an enemy seems the way to go. Really, it’s odd, and doesn’t make a shit load of sense, but then....

She cheats, she lies and she losses everything, that’s pretty much the base notes from this book, you’ll have to read it and maybe you’ll get more out of it then I did.
