Happy Aussie Day, mates

It may be a little late, but I found these and couldn’t stop myself—really, it’s an Aussie thing right? And I’m feeling as if I haven’t done nothing a good ol’ Aussie is meant to do
Yeah know, I don’t drink VB, the crap taste like shit (beer in general dose, but that shit…yuck!—horse piss)
It was bloody raining, and at the moment my man can’t eat meat—so no BBQ
The V8’s weren’t racing, and I can’t stand the Cricket—really people, talk a bore.

But I found these….the Australia Day 2013 published by MLR Press
Nothing but some gay Aussie meet, right?

What would you do if you suddenly found yourself transported back in time?

Under The Australian Sky

Being a farmer in the 1800's is hard; being a gay farmer even harder. Ethan has given up on finding his soul mate until a strangely dressed man wanders onto his land spouting nonsense about phones and cars. Jack is King of the one night stands, refusing to give anyone his heart until a chance encounter with Christian, a matchmaker longing to earn his cupid wings, sends Jack back in time. Can Jack give his heart to Ethan or will he become another conquest? Will Christian ever earn his cupid wings? Will they find love under the Australian sky?
G'day mate. For a true blue ripsnorter of a time, stop by and have a chin wag and some tucker at the annual Aussie Day barbie. I'll even shout ya a stubbie or two if ya lucky.

Bush Bashin’ by NJ Nielsen

My name is Jeremiah Haines, but most people call me Frog. This is the story of how I uprooted my life, moving from Brisbane to a small cattle station in Western Australia. Between the crocs in the yard, the station hands giving me the cold shoulder, and the neighbouring station recruiting me to put their Australia Day barbie together, it's no wonder I'm in over my head. And that's before I take into account my unexpected attraction to sexy cowboy Ren Fielding. What're the chances I'll make it through Australia Day with both my mind and heart intact?

Nude Surfing by Geoffrey Knight

Clancy Wade didn't plan on taking off for the Australia Day long weekend, but after waking up naked in the bed of his best mate Johnno, Clance panics, packs up his surfboard and his faithful dog Bluey, and heads north in an attempt to straighten himself out. But at a remote beach on the New South Wales north coast, Clance meets Brazilian traveller Danilo, an open-minded, free-spirited surfer who's about to teach Clance that sometimes in order to find yourself... you just have to let it all hang out.

After you've made a wish on a falling star, how long does it take for a star to fall into your bed?

Waiting For a Star to Fall Down Under by Logan Zachary

Patrick Lewis' freedom starts when he arrives on Australia Day. His tour guide, Luke, looking like he's stepped off the soccer field or Crocodile Dundee, will be traveling with him for two weeks. On the way to the hotel, Luke stops at a secluded beach to skinny dip. Applying sunscreen turns into hot sex on the beach. Patrick's falling star's wish starts to come true, he's free to live his life and explore his sexuality, and Luke may just be the man to share his own wish with Patrick.

After the BBQ (Talmor) by Matthew Lang

Trent Gaudeen was going to spend Australia Day alone--on principle, of course. When an invitation comes out of the blue to atttend his ex's holiday barbeque, he goes along despite himself. Will he open a can of worms or find the perfect match to his American pumpkin pie?

A Brisbane Sunrise by Ashton Wilcocks

Carl and Joseph are two young men in love, who dream of building a wonderful life together. They sit under a beautiful sunrise on Australia Day, reaffirming their love for another. At the end of the day, after a year of courtship, they make love for the very first time, and vow they will celebrate the next Australia day by becoming the countries first legally married gay couple. Along the way, they have faced a tumultuous relationship due to ignorance and prejudice at every turn. Not only are they a gay couple, expressing their undying love for each other in a heterosexual landscape, but, Joseph, is an aboriginal, and looked down upon by those who will use it as just one more excuse to try to ridicule and destroy Carl and Joseph's relationship. In the end, however, love under a perfect Brisbane Sunrise will surely find a way to overcome all

Kevin Ballantyne is a hugely successful children's entertainer, but his personal life is no laughing matter. Will an encounter with a grown-up fan give him an Australia Day to remember?

Crocodile Kev’s Merry-Go-Round by GS Wiley

"Crocodile" Kevin Ballantyne has been entertaining kids in Australia and all over the world for more than twenty years, fan-favorite Kazza the Kangaroo always by his side. When the dancer playing Kazza backs out of an Australia Day gig at Sydney's Hyde Park, Kevin is left scrambling. High dive artist and longtime Crocodile Kev fan Lachlan Clayfield steps into the breach and the kangaroo costume. As they get to know one another over the course of the day, Kevin finds himself wondering whether Lachlan might be able to lend a hand in other, more personal, areas of his life.

Satisfying one yen leads to satisfying another.

Sidney In Sydney by Duncan More

Watching the 2000 Olympics from Australia and all those boats sailing past the Opera House, Sidney wanted to see it in person and saved for nine years for this vacation of a lifetime. And then the rains started and Sidney must make up for three lost days of vacation time in the four remaining days. Everything begins with a cruise of the harbor and sailing past the venerated Opera House itself and ends with a celebration of Australia Day with new found friends
