Happy Aussie Day, mates

It may be a little late, but I found these and couldn’t stop myself—really, it’s an Aussie thing right? And I’m feeling as if I haven’t done nothing a good ol’ Aussie is meant to do
Yeah know, I don’t drink VB, the crap taste like shit (beer in general dose, but that shit…yuck!—horse piss)
It was bloody raining, and at the moment my man can’t eat meat—so no BBQ
The V8’s weren’t racing, and I can’t stand the Cricket—really people, talk a bore.

But I found these….the Australia Day 2013 published by MLR Press
Nothing but some gay Aussie meet, right?

What would you do if you suddenly found yourself transported back in time?

Under The Australian Sky

Being a farmer in the 1800's is hard; being a gay farmer even harder. Ethan has given up on finding his soul mate until a strangely dressed man wanders onto his land spouting nonsense about phones and cars. Jack is King of the one night stands, refusing to give anyone his heart until a chance encounter with Christian, a matchmaker longing to earn his cupid wings, sends Jack back in time. Can Jack give his heart to Ethan or will he become another conquest? Will Christian ever earn his cupid wings? Will they find love under the Australian sky?

G'day mate. For a true blue ripsnorter of a time, stop by and have a chin wag and some tucker at the annual Aussie Day barbie. I'll even shout ya a stubbie or two if ya lucky.

Bush Bashin’ by NJ Nielsen

My name is Jeremiah Haines, but most people call me Frog. This is the story of how I uprooted my life, moving from Brisbane to a small cattle station in Western Australia. Between the crocs in the yard, the station hands giving me the cold shoulder, and the neighbouring station recruiting me to put their Australia Day barbie together, it's no wonder I'm in over my head. And that's before I take into account my unexpected attraction to sexy cowboy Ren Fielding. What're the chances I'll make it through Australia Day with both my mind and heart intact?

But at a remote beach on the New South Wales north coast, Clance meets Brazilian traveller Danilo, an open-minded, free-spirited surfer who's about to teach Clance that sometimes in order to find yourself... you just have to let it all hang out.

Along the way, they have faced a tumultuous relationship due to ignorance and prejudice at every turn. Not only are they a gay couple, expressing their undying love for each other in a heterosexual landscape, but, Joseph, is an aboriginal, and looked down upon by those who will use it as just one more excuse to try to ridicule and destroy Carl and Joseph's relationship. In the end, however, love under a perfect Brisbane Sunrise will surely find a way to overcome all

Kevin Ballantyne is a hugely successful children's entertainer, but his personal life is no laughing matter. Will an encounter with a grown-up fan give him an Australia Day to remember?
