       Thoughts

This is my favourite book. I wanted to read it as soon as I knew there was one. And I wasn’t disappointed. Really, why would I John is a kickass person and Xhex has that sexy hotness that with her thoughts shows a venerability that John knows all too well and a heart that needs smothering, something that John is willing to do.

No matter what he isn’t willing to give up even when he’s heart is smashed into the dust time and time again by her.

Though this book is all about him wanting something he knows she isn’t willing to give him, but hey, at least at the end of it he’ll have something warm and real to yank off too.

But this was only a quarter of the book, and it’s that quarter that I loved, the other stuff—well, it was a could do without type of thing, but interesting, if you really care all that much.

Not only did it have a step into the life of Darius, showing us Tohrment as a new warrior, and the start of Xhex’s life, the reason behind the apple tree.

Then you have Xhex’s other warrior that she let go bat crazy because of love and his need to save her when he didn’t know what she really was. Though this one is done in another person fasion.

And, Quinn and Blay, but these parts are small and it’s all about Blay start in distancing his heart from the one he loves.

It’s all interesting, it’s all great, but it’s the quarter of the book that’s all John and Xhex are beautiful, sweet and shows the softer side in one life hardened warrior and the need that drives the other.
