Waiting on Wednesday

hey everyone, I’m going to join this lovely weekly event that’s hosted by Breaking the Spine
Mostly because, it’s fun, it’s something I love about other people’s blogs; it’s what gets me on there pages when I sometimes can’t get around to them on time.I’m probably not going to be very good at this, but I can only try and try again, so....
Let’s start with the one I’m actually, really, like comes out next week, waiting for!

When a fifteen-year-old girl is abducted by vampires, it’s up to U.S. Marshal Anita Blake to find her. And when she does, she’s faced with something she’s never seen before: a terrifyingly ordinary group of people—kids, grandparents, soccer moms—all recently turned and willing to die to avoid serving a master. And where there’s one martyr, there will be more....
But even vampires have monsters that they’re afraid of. And Anita is one of them...

Yeah, yeah, I’m still reading the series, maybe because this is only, like, the second time I had to wait a year, and in all honesty, I think it’s got a lot to do with hope (it’s not high) that the series might, might, settle back into what it was originally, a crime book. I can’t honestly say I’ll stay on much longer if she doesn’t get back to that, I’m so sick of all the sex, hell, I can get that anywhere, what I can’t get is a sweetly bitchy woman who hunts as good as she fucks.

Anyway, I’m going with the second cover, and fingers are so crossed it’s not funny. That too, and this book (like the year before) comes out around my b’day, which is the only way I can justify spending the $33 it cost, kinda become not worth it in a huge way, but well see....
