One Piece Vol 65, Story & Art by Eiichiro Oda
Chapters 637: The Ancient Ark to chapter 646: Frog
Teen Pirates

NEW WORLD Part 5
As a child, monkey D. Luffy dreamed of becoming King of the Pirates. But his life changed when he accidentally gained the power to stretch like rubber...at the cost of never being able to swim again! Years later, Luffy sets off in search of the “One Piece,” said to be the greatest treasure in the world....

TO NOTHING
The Straw Hat crew are the only ones standing in the way of the New Fish-Man Island. And when Hody puts his diabolical plan into action, only Luffy can stop him. Luffy may have become much more powerful thanks to his training, but how can he hope to defeat a Fish-Man at the bottom of the ocean?!

Last time
Having finished their two year of training, the Straw Hat crew reunites on the Sabaody Archipelago. They set sail more determained than ever to reach The New World!

The Straw Hats finally reach Fish-Man Island but are quickly ambushed by the New Fish-Man Pirates. Their hatred of humans was caused by a long and terrible history of oppression. Now Hody Jones has sworn to destroy the Ryugu Kingdom, become the new king og Fish-Man Island and eliminate anyone who hopes for peace with humankind!! Princess Shirahoshi and her brothers want peace, and they stand up to Hody with Luffy’s help!! A massive battle is about to engulf the entirety of Fish-Man Island…..

This time
Oh man….this was totally the climax we had been looking for. From there first land in Fish-Man Island, to all that history that was played into the story, the battle begins, and is quickly taken care of as Luffy vs. Hody, Sanji & Jimbei vs. Wasatsumi (the giant monk), Zolo vs. Hyouzou, Franky vs. Ikaros Much, Brook vs. Zeo (cried I laughed so much threw that confrontation), Usopp vs. Daruma, Chopper vs. Dosun, while Nami fought the army, and Robin freed the slaves.

It was quick as we got to see what the last two years had really done for all the characters. Making them stronger, and letting us see it. IT WAS AWESOME!!!
I’d love to gush on and on about everything, the book was fast paced, as all the battles are, letting us see bits and piece, while showing us everything we needed to see.
I found, because it came off the last one, that it was a little hard to get back in the flow, maybe I should have read the last book quickly before I went into this one, but I couldn’t stop myself. I just needed to know.
And now I can’t wait for the next one—for the New World!

When we continues...
The Straw Hat pirates may be able to defeat Hody Jones and his minions, but can they stop the destruction of Fish-Man Island itself? When all hope seems lost, a surprise person comes to the rescue. And after the dust settles, the Straw Hats find themselves in all new trouble!
On sale March 2013!
