My Kevin's Live!!
Life, is what we live. It’s what we breathe. It’s who
we love.
This is the story of Kevin and me; I’m Jimmy. Our
story is not long, and it’s not complex. It’s not something to cry over, and
it’s certainly not something to moan about. Our story is simple, and for that,
I feel blessed, being able to grow, live, laugh, and love with the one person I
was meant to be with.
It has been that way for as long as I can remember.

excerpt
He’d been hurt. He wasn’t sure if it was physically or
mentally, but he’d been in Kindy. He’d been sitting on the silver seats, and
he’d been crying.
Those where the points his mind wouldn’t let go of.
He’d been hurt. It hadn’t been because people were cooing and ahhing at them,
wanting to see the cuteness of two small boys kissing. A calendar marker or
something. He’d simply been hurt.
Kevin squatted down in front of him, cupped his chin
to make Jimmy look at him. He asked what had happened, and Jimmy would have
answered. He wasn’t sure what, but each time the memory came round, he was sure
words had actually happened between them. Filling in a moment he’d started to
forget.
He remembered the serious look on Kevin’s face as they
had spoken, the gentle hands as he fixed what was broken, and then a simple
brush of lips against lips.
Kevin never remembered this as a kiss exactly. It’s
not as if he’s forgotten that it happened or he just flat out refused its
existence, more that it wasn’t anything different, or unusual for him, so it
floated away as part of the past.
Kevin’s family touched, kissed, hugged, and praised,
which was so completely different from what happened in his house that he was
always shockingly surprised when their affection focused on him.
To Jimmy, it had been a beautiful shock. Even in its
simplicity.

What happened after that kiss
And that’s it for this year, sorry for some
of the waits, but I want to be able to space them out and hopefully this helps
me get promotion out for at least 3 of them. I will say that there might be a
chance that ARWT will come out in full this year as well, it will depend on how
I end up writing it, and if I can get it all written. But I’m not holding hope,
I want to get myself set up for next year. As well, as having quite a lot to
work out and do in the middle of the year.
Also I have I have started just making cover
art for other people. The titles don’t have to be the end-result, just can’t go
with ‘title here’. I have checked on goodreads to make sure the titles are
original. If you want one contact me and we’ll talk price.

New Website
So, awesome news everyone, I have a website!!!
The reason? Because I didn’t like the way blogger
does there pages. It’s not that there is anything truly bad about them, but I
wanted a nicer, less cluttered place for my books to be. That too, and them all
having their own page is even better.
Saying this there are bits of the website I don’t
like, mostly the fact that I can’t sub-page a sub-page, or at least I don’t
know how to do that. And it’ll either be that I just can’t, or that I have to
pay, in both cases I’ll just have to live.
Still, it’s not really a bad thing until I get more
books under my name, and then I might be in a place where I can pay the monthly
fee to get my domain and link them all together (saying this, it’ll most likely
happen when my brother-in-law can make me the one I really want.
Anyway, it’s just simple, easy and well, easy. I hope
you like it, and if there’s anything you’d see that needs changing, or isn’t
flat out wrong, feel free to tell me ASAP.
So click the big letters above and have yourself a
looksi *smile*

Payhip Account
I decided to give Payhip a try, by adding my books, I’m
not sure if it’ll even work, but I like the idea of having an option. At any
rate, in the long run I’d love nothing more than to have my own site for sales,
so why not start as I wish to go forward.
Love Without
Knowing It at $1.50 : https://payhip.com/b/WlQa
Running Scared at
$0.50 : https://payhip.com/b/tmlD
My profile : https://payhip.com/beeheeley
If you wish for a different file, please tell me and
I’ll add it for you (I’m currently only using the 3 main file types)
The rest of
the plan
I have always wanted to have something that was just
coming to me. I understand the idea isn’t great, that people probably won’t
bother. Mostly I’ll put these to Amazon buyers, as they love Amazon for it’s
one click buy option.
I, as a consumer, don’t like Amazon for that reason,
I don’t like using me credit card, and I hate that I’ve had to put it in. it’s
for you guys who might like a different option, or just the one that comes with
a discount on all my own titles year round.
At the moment each title will display itself on the
payhip site for 50cents cheaper, than anywhere else because I’m mostly not
smart enough to figure out a % and I thought it was a good deal. Like I said,
we’ll see how things move from here, and I’ll update you in 6 months’ time when
I know what’s what.
I also have this plan, if I can get books ready
faster for the future, where they just sit and wait, to have them appear on
payhip first, they will have that added discount, and then, a week later, or so
they will go up everywhere else. I’d like for payhip to be my pre-order site,
you want it straight away this is where you’ll get it from, you want it
anywhere else, and you’ll have to wait.
Like
I said, it’ll be a wait and see kind of deal. Awkwardly though because I’m
technically a no one, there is that longer wait for people to want to read me
enough that they can’t wait, and I understand and know I’m not anywhere near
there yet. If I will ever become it.
But
as I’ve said above, I’m going in as I plan to be, so unless something happens
with payhip, it will stay and I’ll trug through until you all notice the
greatness of my presales.

Origin of the Moe Bros
I’ve written a book called Love Without Knowing It which is
the first in the November series. Each
book in the series will follow a different point in male heath and I will be
donating all profits from the series to the Movember charity every year.
Meanwhile I’m going to be spending the month with
post about the charity and the book in generally because that’s something I can
do as a Mo Sistas (along with my wink, and praise to those men who are growing
themselves a Mo).
But I suppose to start we must travel back and check
out where it all started from, and I may not have gotten it fully write or
anything as I’m a little confused, but then I really didn’t want to just cut
and paste.
Therefore, this is how I remember it starting. But
the meaning is the same regardless.
Mostly the origin of Movember is a little… weird,
because I remember it happening in a Adelaide pub where a group of blocks grew
a moe in support of one of the fathers going through prostate cancer. I
remember it being on the news.
But truly the fundraiser started up in Melbourne and
they have their own story of it starting, but for reals, I’d say the
‘conversation’ was started up as they drank and watched it happen on TV.
Saying this I’m not going to quibble with what the
people say how it started, we’re Aussies and we tend to lie a little and say
things are ours when they really started somewhere else *cough-pavlova-cough*. like
yeah technically it’s started there, because those 30 guys were the ones that
made it into something it was today, but if it weren’t for those little guys
the thought may never have come up.
Anyway, from there it went viral, maybe a little
slower then what viral means now a day but clearly it went worldwide, slowly
different countries linked themselves up to this event where for the month of
November we sponsor men to grow a little facial hair in and donate money to the
cause which is male heath.
I quite like the idea, I like that it’s for the
whole ring of health and not just one or the other, because I find that some
things get left out that are just, if not more, important, but for this event
we are focused not only on the physical of the men in our lives and the mental.
You see men are human and as a human, they get sick,
but in our society, we have brought them up to be, well, men, which means they
have to be strong, and fit and always provide for their family. It doesn’t
matter how much things have changed and how much that those points just don’t
exist they are still how we raise our boys.
This charity, this organisation and the fact that
it’s so visual and in your face for the whole of November (especially for those
who aren’t a fan of the moe) that men do in fact fall and they need help in
realising that it’s okay and there isn’t anything wrong with that.
I want to end this with saying, if you have a man,
or men in your life that aren’t like this, and I have met a few of the too,
that’s excellent, but like the way of women it’s not a one is all type of
thing, each and every one of us are individuals
If you wish to learn more about the organisation,
here are the main links

If you are from somewhere else, I’m sure you can
find yours and my apologies for not having it up.
When everything Paul had ever known turned upside down, suddenly he
needs to man up and fight for the love he’s always feared.
Paul’s life was set. He had what he needed and what he was comfortable
with. Then a night with one of his regular lovers pulls him into the drama of
sickness, love, and death.
In the end, Paul needs to work a few things out first: Is he strong
enough to fall in love with a man that may need more than he’s able to give, or
will he fall into old habits and run when the relationship gets too
complicated?
A reminder that through the month of November all profits of this book
will be going to the Movember charity
