Okay, so the other style of cover for Lover Reborn by J. R. Ward that comes out in March 2011 is... well... here, I found it on Dark Faerie Tales blog since they are having a huge read-a-long with the series, starting Jan 6th, you should go and check it all out.

anyway, what you think between the two covers?

I'm not sure, but then I like most of the covers from the first printing of the series, there like the second cover, rather than the new printed covers, mostly because the second lots turned them kinda girlish, and these books defiantly ain't girlish, not in the way a lot of romance novels are.

Anyway, I'm not real sure what I'm going on about. still, I know that I will be getting it in the second cover because the place I order my books from gets there's from the UK, and so.... though I'm not to please because it's going to be in the fucking large size paperback, which is shit, but at least the words aren't going to be old lady large (at least I really hope not) so I can't be completely upset about it, and really, it's because I won’t be able to wait for it that I will deal.

anyway, found it, got a little excited--not wet the pants yet, but excited all the same and I thought I'd share my love

Thanks for your times

adding some more books to my pile!

I know that I wasn't going to, but well, slip ups happen.
the ones that I bought...

Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare, Infernal Devices series, book 1
Daughter of Darkness by Virginia Andrews
the Beholder by Connie Hall, a Nightwalkers novel
Succubus Blue by Richelle Mead, Georgina Kincaid series, book 1
Pleasure of a Dark Prince by Kresley Cole, Immortal After Dark series, book 7

I also got, borrowed them off my sister and her man, they are Manga, she loves them and since I needed something to get me threw the few hours of a night were there isn't anything on telly, and I don't particually want to read a full book. so I asked, and she let me borrow, which is great.

I got the pic's from a ONE PIECE site. Its a Australian one. these (if you haven't guessed) are the first 6 in the series, which so far has 58 volumes, and my sister has most of them, so week by week I will most likly go threw them all.I haven't figured out how I'm going to review them, whether it be one on one or a bunch in one review. but I guess we'll see coming from next week, being that the weekends are book time.

so anyway, that's what I got. what about you?
Thanks for the time.

Let’s have some fun....

And talk about me! more interesting, about my OCD tendencies, and obsessive ways with my books, both the ones I buy and the ones that I write.

I thought of doing this because of something on... shit, I can't remember it was a while back and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. so....

This is going to show you the inner weirdness of my mind. So I warn you before you dive in that I’m not the sainest of people. And yet, weirdly enough I think me actually sainer than most. But don’t all us crazied think that?

Okay, we start with my shelves, and the books that I buy....

Cover found

so I got this cover from Anna's Book blog and yeah, thought I would share because I can't wait till it comes out. I'm really hoping that it's the last book in the series, but really, it could be the second last I guess. anyway the story going into this one seems such a great way to end the series. if you really think about it.

this is book 12 of the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. it's due out 1st May 2012. Can't wait!

2 prezys left and a pile of books

Yeah, I nearly finished my Christmas shopping. got everything I'm--I really mean we--are getting for the kids, because there young enough that it doesn't matter all that much how Christmas looks that morning under the tree (next years gonna be a bitch) and I've gotten..Yeah, there's only 2 left to get and mostly because those two I can't actually get until things are worked out and Christmas is at our front door.

Also, on my walk through the shops I got some books (surprise surprise, and not only because it's what this post is saying)

Thursday, 24 November 2011

finally, I got them....

On the day after the last day in my 15 day waiting period for the books I ordered. The day with I was just about to ring up screaming (ha, like I'm that type of person) at them for the fact that they should be here and they weren't. Demand (which, so my family says, is in me) that they get here sooner rather than later. I got them, worst was that it's raining where I live. the bastard of the weather that has been lingering around for the last couple of days making me sweat a little every time I went out just in case they came and just put them on the door step where they would be drenched by the flash downpour, with help for them wind seems to like the hit over the last couple of days.

Anyway, enough about all that crap. The crap that you most likely don't care all that much about.

I got....
           Dark sins and Desert Sands
Escaping a hellish Syrian prison, U.S. serviceman Ray Stavrakis emerged with uncanny mind-control powers and an eerie ability to morph into a mythical Minotaur. As a half man, half bull, Ray had legendary power, but only one woman could prove his innocence. The woman who’d driven him to the brink of insanity with her cool-eyed interrogation and her hot-blooded sensuality.

But Vegas psychologist Layla Bahset had no memory of Ray or her past. Only a feeling of being stalked by a nonhuman predator. Was it Ray...whose eyes condemned her soul even as his hands ignited her body? Or was another evil force at work? But nothing could stop Layla from remembering what she was...and what her evil creator had planned for her and her soldier lover....

this is book 4 in Stephanie Draven's Mythica series, and was released in Oct 2011.

my sex scenes (more so a bitch)

I'm just not sure if I'm any good at writing sex scenes

The thing is that it’s not really about the sex and yet it’s everything about it. Making the scene hot, heavy, atmospheric. Light and free. It’s all about the right type of sex in the right places.

But then I’m not writing porn, so it’s also got to have a lot more in it than sex. It’s got to have emotions and suspense, even if it gets you into their pants, there just has to be something in it. Something that makes you hot along with a need to have someone love you—no , want you just as much.

I sat all this because it’s what I hope it will be like to read my book. And I think I suck at it!
