            Synopsis
For weeks, the immortal warrior Aeron has sensed an invisible female presence. An angel – demon assassin – has been sent to kill him. Or has she? Olivia claims she fell from the heavens, giving up immortality because she couldn’t bear to harm him. But trusting - and falling for – Olivia will endanger them all. So how has this “mortal” with the huge blue eyes already unleashed Aeron’s darkest passion?

Now, with an enemy hot on his trail and his faithful demon companion determined to remove Olivia from his life, Aeron is trapped between duty and consuming desire. Worse still, a new executioner has been sent to do the job Olivia wouldn’t.

            Thoughts
It’s about lusting for a angle when you wished not to lust for anything and about the need to keep everyone alive when they are determined to kill themselves (thought not by hand, more actions, and even more so, only one was really going to so that, two if you include her).

the thing I love most about this book is, this book, honestly the best in the series, or at least I thought so, maybe I just like reading the whole passionate male when he doesn’t want to show it, and a woman that knows what she wants and even though she’s scared and things are embarrassing she’s still going to get what she wants. And does she.

This is another of those books that is more about courage and an understanding that’s got everything to do with realising you were wrong your whole life and the understanding, the...resolution frees you to open your heart and sacrifice everything for those you love.

This read
I love this book, still, to this day, it’s my favourite.
I absolutely love the war that goes one threw Aeron’s head as he struggles to deal with the flirtatious, curious, beauty of an Angel that has taken over his life and turn everything he believes upside down.
The struggle and the pleas work well together along with the small amounts of take in the hunt with the hunters, and the line up to the next book.

it’s....I don’t know, I loved this book, it brought up things that needed to be answered, it played with lives that didn’t mean anything but know...what are we meant to think?!
I love the series and this book is the best of the whole series, I know this is a re-read.

Series
The darkest fire, The darkest Night, the darkest kiss, the darkest pleasure, the darkest prison, the darkest whisper, the darkest Angel, [tb], the darkest lie, the darkest Secret, the darkest Surrender, the darkest Seduction,
