InnerGoddess St Patrick’s Day Blog Hop

Inner GoddessWelcome one and all to this blog hop, I’m not really sure what is expected of us but the linky so…

I’m Irish, it’s not that obvious from my last name as with the Heeley’s or whatever they were originally called before they jumped across to England in those times when most things Gaelic were out-lord by the English, they moved and changed their name in order for the English not to know where they came from. It was just a shame that they chose Yorkshire to settle as, well, I guess you really need to know that northern accent to get why I say that.

My mother’s is where I truly tie my Irish genes too, as she’s from Belfast, they immigrated over to Australia when she was 8. I am in fact second generation—duel passport—Irish. I’m not sure the background of my grandmothers family, I think they were from the south that moved to the north, but it’s said that my grandfather’s line can be traced back to the Celtic’s which is the reason I got my pixie ear.

Anyway, walla, I’m Irish. I’m blue eyed, blond hair, and see-through white skin—and yes I say that other just being white, my veins are small and deep and I can see every fucking one of them. I ain’t white, I’m see-through.

Anyway, I wear the green I have the Claddagh ring (ok, I got it when I was little, so it doesn’t fit anymore), pendent and my mother even has the brooch.
I love my family, the support they give me, everyone, the same I would give them. It’s what it’s like to live in an Irish family. We are for life and we tend to keep them all there.

So enough of that, here’s the links and other info – in addition to the blog hop giveaway I’m running my own for the week. Hope you guys have fun as you click through the list of wonderful authors/bloggers

  2. I haven't been to Ireland, but it's #1 on my list of places to visit. Traditional Irish music and dancing are probably my favourite things about it.

  8. I lived there for about 6 months, in Kenmare. What I loved...the bougainvillea (I think that's what it was) that was the size of my house. Absolutly beautiful! And the lamb, I love lamb!
