The books that have been collecting dust for so long they have become stained from it

Bloodlust. Magic. Forbidden secrets.

Forbidden to love doomed to fail

Savannah Colbert has never known why she’s so hated by the kids of the Clann. Nor can she deny her instinct to get close to Clann golden boy, Tristan Coleman. Especially when she recovers from a strange illness and the attraction becomes nearly irresistible. It’s as if he’s a magnet, pulling her gaze, her thoughts—even her dreams. Her family has warned her to have nothing to do with him or any members of the Clann. But when Tristan is suddenly everywhere she goes, Savannah fears she’s destined to fail.

For years, Tristan has been forbidden to even speak to Savannah. Then she disappears from school for a week and comes back...different, and suddenly he can’t stay away. Boys seem intoxicated just from looking at her. His own family becomes striker than ever. And Tristan has to fight his own urge to protect her, to be near her, no matter the consequences...

Waiting on Wednesday #2

A meme hosted by Breaking the Spine
You all know what’s going on, so let’s get going....

At the end of Siren's Storm, the Sirens were defeated, and now the town of Walfang is once again a peaceful beach community.

Or is it? Gretchen and Will are still haunted by the memories of the night the Sirens were destroyed—Gretchen because she can't remember what happened and Will because he doesn't know how to tell Gretchen what he saw. He doesn't even understand what he saw, but he does know now that Gretchen is more than what she seems, more than a human girl. And at the same time, he is more in love with her than ever.

Gretchen knows there's something wrong, too. She feels like an alien in her own body, but she doesn't know why. And she feels a presence stalking her at every turn. Have the Sirens returned to Walfang? Or has some other force come to claim her?

            Synopsis
It might sound like a man’s favourite fantasy – to live forever, destined to be the lover of thousands of woman. But for Julian of Macedon, it’s a nightmare. But with or without sex, the rules of the enchantment cannot be changed – Julian is hers for the month. Expected publication (goodreads) Sept 2012 (website) Nov ‘12
by Random house Australia

Series includes
Burn Bright & Angel Arias

As of yet, there’s no blurb, Summery, nothing, just the book name and cover. Which like the rest of the series is pretty spectacular, and if all goes well it should end up with a....butter, cover, I think Danny Marks calls them.
Whatever, I love the series and have been waiting since I finished the last book to get my hands on this one. I can’t wait, and as far as know, this might actually be the last book, or second last....maybe, I’m not a 100% sure what’s going on and the authors websight makes things a little less understandable while giving us some cool shit to read.

Book Chat: Hadn’t the Pleasure # 3

The books that have been collecting dust for so long they have become stained from it

I don’t believe in ghosts.
Unfortunately, they believe in me....

Let me set the record straight. My name is Charlotte Silver and I’m not one of those paranormal-obsessed freaks you see on TV... no, those would be my parents, who have their own ghost-hunting reality show. While I’m usually roped into the behind-the-scenes work, it turns out that I haven’t gone unnoticed. Something happened on my parents’ research trip in Charleston—and now I’m being stalked by some truly frightening other beings.

Trying to fit into a new school and keeping my parents’ creepy occupation a secret from my friends—and potential boyfriends—is hard enough without having angry spirits whispering in my easy. All I ever wanted was to be normal, but with the ghosts of my past and present colliding, now I just want to make it out of high school alive...
